             Production of needles and shanks
             at the Breite Strasse factory in Attendorn

     
 

1920     Wilhelm Kemmerich joins the company.
             The name “Gebr. Kemmerich”
             (Kemmerich Brothers) is introduced

     
 

1934     Production is moved to Schemperstrasse
             in Attendorn

   

 

  1946     Willi Kemmerich acquires the company
             along with 5 employees; production of needles
             and shanks

1951     Begins development and production
             of wire and sheet coiling and decoiling

1962     First contact with the automotive industry

1986     Josef Kemmerich joins the company

            Formation of SKA-Produktion (now Kendrion
            SKA-Produktion) producing stamped
            components seatbelt height adjusters
            and other safety components

            Transfer of the company to Josef

1993    Establishment of the toolmaking factory
            in Sörnewitz (Dresden)

            Formation of Kemmerich Iberica;
            Begins production of stamped components
