1897     Established by Albert Kemmerich:
             Production of needles and shanks
             at the Breite Strasse factory in Attendorn

1920     Wilhelm Kemmerich joins the company.
             The name “Gebr. Kemmerich”
             (Kemmerich Brothers) is introduced

1934     Production is moved to Schemperstrasse
             in Attendorn

1951     Begins development and production
             of wire and sheet coiling and decoiling
             machines

1962     First contact with the automotive industry
             (Opel, Teves)

1965     First contact with Ford

1980     Begins development and production
             of precision straighteners for coils

1986     Josef Kemmerich joins the company

1988     „Q1-Award“ from Ford

1990    Christoph Kemmerich joins the company

            Formation of SKA-Produktion (now Kendrion
            SKA-Produktion) producing stamped
            components seatbelt height adjusters
            and other safety components

            Transfer of the company to Josef
            and Christoph Kemmerich

1992   Willi Kemmerich dies at just 65 years of age

1993    Establishment of the toolmaking factory
            in Sörnewitz (Dresden)

1995    „Supplier of the Year“ award from GM

            Certification to ISO 9001

1996    Co-operation with Progeral, Sao Paulo, Brasil

            Formation of Kemmerich Iberica;
            Begins production of stamped components
            in Valencia, Spain

            Toolmaking factory moves from Sörnewitz
            to the new building in Niederau-Gröbern

1997    Certification to QS 9000 and VDA 6.1.

1999    „World Excellence Award“ für Qualität von Ford

            “Supplier of the Year” from Continental Teves

2002    Inauguration of the new Askay pressing plant
            (Plant II), in Attendorn

2003    Certification to ISO/TS 16949
            and DIN EN ISO 14001

            Acquisition of Alba-Vorschubtechnik

            Co-operation with Kendrion Mefa, Sweden

2005    Expansion of the Askay pressing plant
